Aris's Story
Aris Federman is a Director, Producer, and Cinematographer. He serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Blue Oak Productions and Echo Grove Media- two sister companies dedicated to visual storytelling across narrative and commercial spaces.
Aris received his BFA in Acting from Pace University and attended the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts. His training in performance quickly evolved into a passion for filmmaking. Since then, he has produced, written, or directed a range of narrative and branded projects. His most recent film, Tin Soldiers, won the Jury Award for Best Cinematography at the Santa Fe Film Festival (2025).
To Aris, stories are the ultimate expression of empathy. They have always brought people from different walks of life together- by a campfire, in a theater, or on a screen. Wherever stories are told, people gather. Aris aims to use his voice as an artist to continue that tradition of unity, empathy, and human connection through storytelling.
